I have an HIS Iceq X Radeon HD 6850 video card up and running. When idle, it seems to run at about 45C. When running WoW (in Stormwind, during peak time, in Trade District) it gets up to about 55C. These temperatures ok?|||Idle is fine. It's never the idle temp that you have to be concerned with, it's the temp under full load.
55C is fine. It's actually very cool. Radeon 6xxx series cards are rated to withstand 100C but it's better if they stay under 90C
Having said that, i very much doubt that your figure of 55C is while your card is under full load. Those games aren't very demanding. I bet your maximum temp would be higher if you were maxing out Crysis.|||No worries there.
