Will this power supply work with this video card? and keep it at a decent temperature?

But a power supply has nothing to do with keeping a component cool, that job falls to the fan on the video card...|||If the rest of your hardware devices are also hi-end like Core 2 Duo CPU + 2GB DDR2/3 Ram, I believe that such PSU cannot handle them. In this case, a PSU of about 800W is wiser choice:

Otherwise, 550W is ok.



Keeping it at decent temp. doesn't have anything to do with the PSU (but energy is needed to keep the card's fan running). To keep it cool, you need: a well-ventilated case (w/ many fans); a good video card heat sink/fan.
